MATT DEAKINS

MATT DEAKINS

Matt Deakins is a stand-up comedian. He lives in Virginia. When people ask him, he says Washington D.C. It's easier that way. The Washington Post named him one of the ten funniest comedians in the D.C. area. They also called him a “hick”. Mainstream media is dead anyways. He’s headlined in venues across the country like the D.C Improv, Pittsburgh Improv, and the Vermont Comedy Club. He's worked with comics like: Matt Rife, Theo Von, Matt McCusker, and Francis Ellis. Matt won the Tournament of Champions and the 2024 Comedy Kumite XL at the DC Improv. Suck it WashPo. He was also named PAC player of the week in 2014 after breaking the Saint Vincent College record for touchdown passes in a single game. If you bring a football to the show he will throw you a post route in the parking lot. He has a podcast with his friend called Have a Nice Day. It’s ranked in the top 10 podcasts in Thailand. We don’t know why either.
